I have been running this flow housing for 18 months on my personal ski. After testing different styles, I’ve had huge gains with this one! Without the housing, you have significant drag in the water from the protruding pumps on freestyle skis. You also have a large interruption of flow when you are using full trim with water grabbing between your exit nozzle and trim ring. This flow housing not only removes that cavitation, but also significantly increases rotation speed by eliminating the huge drag of the pump.
This product took me way longer than I originally planned to fine tune, but I wanted it right! I wanted it with zero gluing, zero grinding: just a product you can install and remove in less than 60 seconds. This bolts on using your existing 4 exit nozzle bolts, so install is as simple as 4 bolts out and 4 bolts in. This might be the quickest and most effective upgrade you can find for your ski!
